The Graphic Novel Studio brings together all the services you need to get your graphic novel from roughs to printed book, and beyond.

About the studio.

Corinne and Vicki have worked in publishing together for around a decade and a half, producing some incredible graphic novels along the way, working with award-winning authors such as Darryl Cunningham, Sabba Khan and Zara Slattery. For a while, they’ve been seeing a lot of authors – and even publishing houses and academic researchers – wanting to know how to turn impressive graphic novel ideas into real-life books, and also how to market those books once complete.

They decided it was time to step in.

Now, they’re combining their skills and experience in the graphic novel form to offer publishing houses, not-for-profits, and indie authors a full graphic novel production service – from conception through to print and publication. Once your book is ready to roll, they can also be on hand to help navigate the dynamic comics world, developing marketing strategies to launch your book and to engage with bookshops and libraries, as well as all-important comics fairs.

Vicki is a dedicated book designer, with a specialism in graphic novels. She’s worked for publishers large and small – from Bonnier and Bloomsbury, to Myriad (founders of the First Graphic Novel Award) – and has helped several indie graphic novelists from around the world to realise their dreams in the self-publishing biz (so knows a thing or two about KDP, Ingram, BookVault, and all the rest).

Vicki’s passion lies in getting books to look gloriously beautiful, through meticulous design and unique layouts – firmly understanding that every graphic novel is utterly different, and so needs its own careful handling to be its most brilliant self.
